KGAL postgraduate wins top ward
William Naumann who, following an earlier two week work experience period, is with us again at our Gloucester office on a three month summer placement, has just been awarded the F V Warnock Prize in mechanical engineering from the Board of Examiners at Belfast University. The prize, named after the university’s first Chair of Mechanical Engineering, is awarded annually to the student who, in the Board’s opinion, has achieved the highest weighted average mark.
On his return to university in the autumn William will be pursuing a Masters focussing on energy and computer aided engineering including computational fluid dynamics. William is keen to follow a career in fluid simulation and control, preferably in the field of hydropower, so KGAL may well benefit from William’s skills again at the end of his degree course in 2017.
