National 'Women in Engineering' day: June 23, 2015

The Women’s Engineering Society (WES) is doing all it can to encourage young girls and women to take up careers in engineering. One way of promoting the objective is through a national ‘Women in Engineering’ day when relevant people, companies, government departments, media, places of learning and professional bodies are prompted to engage with the issues to maximise awareness and, thereby, inspire more women to consider engineering as a vocation.

KGAL's recruitment is modest and is always purely on merit, but we still tend to see male applicants far outnumbering women in every discipline. That’s why our offices are always willing to welcome pre-arranged pupil visits and our key staff are open to school career event speaking opportunities; all to get our youngest students thinking about engineering careers at an early stage.
